Filter Editor

The Filter Editor provides a way of customizing which sample types are shown in ACE.  Some are provided by default to show how filters operate:

This example shows the 10Be/26Al filter. To see how this filter operates, select it in the Filter Editor:

The syntax is reasonably straightforward, in that for each sample, if the nuclide type is listed as 10Be or 26Al the sample is shown.  Based on sample attributes, the possibilities for filters are limitless.  For example the following shows samples at high latitudes:

The Filter Editor can be used in conjunction with the Group Editor to make very powerful filter rules.  For example the high latitude sample filter can be easily modified to show only high latitude 3He calibration samples by using the Add Group option in the filter editor:

Filters can also be used recursively.  For example, by using Add Subfilter the original eroded samples filter can be added to our high latitude 3He calibration filter:

Although if you find a sample that fits this criteria we would be very impressed.
